Value Baking Supplies

Our company supplies baking smalls, hardware, e.g. tins, rolling pins decorating equipment as well as decorations, ingredients and packaging to the trade as well as the general public.

The thinking behind the business was that at the time we started, there were only big companies that really only supplied in large pack sizes, as well as the difficulty that the public had in obtaining these specialized products.

The concept behind Value Baking Supplies was to take the baking supply business a step further in that we wanted to supply a one stop shopping experience that would take the novice as well as the professional baker right through from start to packaged product.

As time went by and with the advent of DSTV and the food channels, a whole new market opened up with the man in the street wanting to attempt dishes and bakes seen on TV but not having the accessories available. As a result we started stocking specialized items as well as securing agencies for various local and overseas suppliers

Over the years, our range has diversified into areas other than the baking business, such as spices, sweets, packaging, nuts, and the food business in general.

 In simple terms, while we still sell bulk packs, we take these same products, standard and specialized, and repack them into affordable pack sizes.

We have had many requests over the years to open other stores in various areas and as such our second store opened in Strand in November last year, with Paarl coming on line in March.
