How to Place an Order

We do not provide an online shopping cart or purchase via our website. No online shopping or transactions are commenced through our website. We do however render the service of orders via email, fax, telephone and in-store purchases.

Online Enquiry Basket & Ordering procedure

You may place items of interest into your enquiry basket and submit it to us. You will then receive a quotation within 24hours; unless due to unforeseen circumstances. Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays do not apply. No stock availability will be confirmed on quotation. If you have specifically instructed differently in the comments bar below your enquiry; above mentioned circumstances may change. Once you have received a copy of your quotation and are happy with it; you may proceed to confirm this for order via email.

Once an order is confirmed:

  • You will be added to our books and further information may be required.
  • Stock count will be taken, order drawn and invoicing will proceed.
  • You will receive an invoice with an order number and the banking details.

Depending on the type of order; shop collection; courier, delivery or postage, etc. the type of payment may vary.

Quotations are only valid for 7 days. Stock availability is not confirmed on quotation and will only be confirm upon placing an order.

 

Types of Payments

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Credit Cards
  • Debit Cards
  • Direct Deposits
  • EFT’s

We do not accept foreign currencies or any cheques.

 

EFT Payments:

  • Deposits will only be accepted once reflected in our bank account and ensure correct order number reference is assigned.
  • You can request an immediate transfer to speed up the procedure (process) with your bank’s EFT payment options; however this reflection period in our account may vary from bank to bank.

Products on payment:

  • All products will be released into your possession once payment has reflected in our account.
  • If you are making use of your own courier for collection; please take into account above mentioned (time account reflection), and we have confirmed that payment has been received in our account; Only then contact the courier to collect as only then goods will be Released.

All goods remain the property of Value Baking Supplies until paid for in full. If an invoice is not paid within 7(seven) working days from when the invoice was sent; the order will be cancelled; unless otherwise specified or arranged, in writing (or telephonically), between you and Value Baking Supplies.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

If you would like to cancel any order; please notify us in person, via email, telephonically or fax message. Cancelled orders may result in non-refundable deposits. Unless in the terms as arranged between you and Value Baking Supplies to pay a deposit on special orders; where the deposit will not be refundable; cancelation may still take place, but deposit will not be refunded. Normal orders maybe still be refundable.

Purchasing Goods by means of Transport/Delivery

  • Orders for delivery can be placed with our order department at our head office: 021 9810304 or via email on orders@valuesupplies.co.za
  • We offer a free delivery service for any order above a certain value to the Greater Cape Town Area. Certain areas are delivered on specific days of the week. (Please enquire about current value amount& delivery day to your area).
  • Orders are to be placed 48 hours in advance. Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays do not apply.
  • Other means of obtaining your goods would be via postage or courier services, for your own costs.

Returns Policy

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase:

  • All products are to be returned in original packaging; along with proof of payment; invoice or till slip.
  • All products are to be returned within 7days of purchase.
  • Value Baking Supplies reserves the right to charge a 10% handling fee if products are returned due to incorrect purchase.
  • The relevant store manager will return any items that are failing to the manufacturer for testing, prior to refunding stock or cash; in order to determine cause of failure.

Food products/ Perishables:

  • If the food item is returned on the basis that it is the incorrect product purchased by the client or any such association; a 10% handling fee may be charge. The item must return in its original packaging unsealed and in original condition; within 7 days of purchase along with the original purchase slip.
  • If you have used the product and deemed it to be spoiled; unsatisfactory; or not up to par the item may be returned.
  • Under the standards of the complaint and the reason for return of the product; it will be left up to the store manager, assistant managers or owners to determine whether a full refund is in order and whether the item is to go back to the supplier for further testing.

Non-Food products:

  • If the food item is returned on the basis that it is the incorrect product purchased by the client or any such association; a 10% handling fee may be charge. The item must be returned in its original and sealed packaging and in original condition; within 7 days of purchase along with the original purchase slip.
  • If you have used a product and found it to be damaged or faulty, please contact us or arrange a return of the product for refund, replacement or repair; depending on the circumstance.
